About the Role

Saco Bay PT is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices.
  • Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, and contribute to case management.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding client relations.
Requirements
  • A valid state license (where applicable), registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • One year of experience in outpatient or an outpatient physical therapy clinical rotation.
  • State license and/or certification must be valid in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift patients using biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during the workday.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records and recognize people.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
