About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Saco Bay Kids Pediatric Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with various physical and developmental challenges to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical and developmental disabilities, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment plans and progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric physical therapy, attending workshops and conferences as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the day.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday.
