Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Global Sourcing and Contracting Expert to join our team. This role will involve managing a variety of contracts from strategy development through execution and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop contracting strategies for execution and oversee sourcing and contracting needs through project stage gates.
  • Review, propose revisions, and implement agreements using standard documents/forms and contracting procedures.
  • Effectively work with internal resources, including BU Partners, Stakeholders, Supply Chain Staff, Quality, HSE, Legal, and others.
  • Analyze suitability of potential contractors in accordance with company and project-specific qualification criteria.
  • Gather market and contractor information through market intelligence.
  • Implement contract services in a timely and cost-efficient manner within established company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Bid evaluations, analysis, and coordination of formal RFXs.
  • Supplier Performance Management - ongoing support of Contract Management Plans and KPIs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years supply chain contracting experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Advanced-level functional background or working knowledge of company procurement systems (SAP and SMART by GEP).
  • Intermediate-level understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge and understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Intermediate-level contract drafting skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple contracts in various stages of development.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum based on location and experience.
