Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. You will provide essential laboratory expertise and contribute to our commitment to outstanding patient care.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise and timely laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Take charge of departmental operations in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures within specified turnaround times.
- Apply sound judgment and independent thinking in interpreting patient results.
- Monitor pending logs and resolve outstanding workloads.
- Perform quality control procedures and manage critical laboratory specimens.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate Degree is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist is preferred.
- A valid State of Florida Technologist License is required or the ability to obtain one during the interview process.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is preferred.
