Job Summary:
HCA Florida Palms West Peds ED is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Physicians for our newly remodeled 10-Bed wing Peds ED (separate from adult located in Loxahatchee, FL, in the greater West Palm Beach area.Pediatric ED Features:
- 54,000 annual patient visits (36,000 Main ED; 18,000 Peds ED).
- Palms West Children's Hospital features a newly remodeled 10-bed pediatric ED (23 bed newly remodeled and expanded Adult ED)
- Physician Shifts: 6a-6p, 6p-6a with 12 hours of APP coverage 10a-10p
- Residents from three different HCA EM Residencies rotate through dept and 1 in-house Pediatric Residency Program also trains in Peds ED dept
- Admit rate is 10%
- Accredited NICU (24/7 PICU and NICU)
