Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Farm Technician II to join our team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms and related facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal performance of wind turbines and related equipment
  • Conduct acceptance and performance tests on systems and equipment following planned maintenance or outages
  • Assist with turbine maintenance, including services, major component work, and replacement
  • Collaborate with the O&M team to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in safety exercises and training programs to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in sciences or related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution
  • Ability to work safely in extreme environments and maintain a personal weight limitation of 270 lbs.
  • Unrestricted driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to climb wind towers on a daily basis and work in closed and small swaying areas
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
