We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Nursing Staff Scheduler to join our team at Leelanau Opco LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for scheduling nursing staff to meet facility and state and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Post Work Schedules: Create and post work schedules at least two weeks prior to the schedule start date.
- Coordinate Time Off Requests: Work with the Director of Nursing to coordinate time off requests and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Manage Staffing Levels: Monitor staffing levels and notify the Director of Nursing of short staffing situations.
- Maintain Employee Records: Maintain accurate records of employee contact numbers and produce reports as needed.
- Coordinate Contract Labor: Work with the Director of Nursing to secure contract labor when required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience in long-term care, C.N.A. preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare staff.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate a personal computer and perform basic administrative tasks.
