Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Staff Scheduler to join our team at Leelanau Opco LLC. As a key member of our staffing team, you will be responsible for scheduling nursing staff to meet facility and state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and post work schedules at least two weeks prior to schedule start.
  • Contact replacement personnel and modify schedules as needed.
  • Maintain a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-in.
  • Coordinate time off requests with the Director of Nursing.
  • Notify the Director of Nursing of short staffing situations.
  • Maintain a record of employees that miss shifts and produce reports.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to secure contract labor when required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of experience in long term care, C.N.A. preferred.
