About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center Management Corp. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of all food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of F&B operations, including inventory control, ordering, and staff supervision.
  • Work closely with the F&B Director to achieve operational and financial goals, ensuring the protection of assets and revenue.
  • Maintain accurate inventory reports, oversee deliveries, and process vendor invoices.
  • Create a positive work environment, supervise staff, and monitor service areas to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Set up and supervise day-to-day operations related to events, receptions, and catering.
  • Assist with laundry and merchandise management.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of related experience or training.
  • Knowledge of Tennessee liquor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to perform assigned production tasks, including constant reaching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for the performing arts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Analytical tracking and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with IOS/ipads and software applications.

Essential Functions and Working Conditions:

  • Working virtually and in an office environment.
  • Heavy lifting and transporting product from loading dock to F&B/WMA storage areas.
  • Comfort with navigating backstage areas, including dressing rooms and various theater settings.
