Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Appliance Repair Technician Trainee. This role offers comprehensive training for the right candidate, including a structured apprenticeship program designed to develop your skills and expertise in appliance repair.

As a Trainee, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of appliance installation, maintenance, and repair services. You will also have the opportunity to expand our customer base by identifying potential sales opportunities for additional services. Adhering to our core values, you will demonstrate respect and professionalism towards all customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize industry-standard software to gain knowledge in appliance repair.
  • Accompany experienced technicians to gain practical, hands-on experience.
  • Diagnose and repair appliances and equipment within customers' homes accurately.
  • Provide customers with cost estimates for repairs and installations, and handle payment transactions.
  • Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain the company vehicle and equipment.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including invoices and daily reports.
  • Assist with other duties as required, including cross-training in related roles.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to navigate tablet-based technology proficiently.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Flexible availability with variable hours (no weekends required).
Physical Requirements:

This position may require standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is occasionally necessary.
