Mammography Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team at Next Move Healthcare. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures, ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards
  • Use effective communication techniques to ensure patient comfort and understanding of the procedure
  • Prepare patients for procedures by positioning them correctly and explaining each step of the process
  • Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff, including infection control and radiation safety policies
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
  • Record patient data and maintain accurate medical imaging records in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining the department's supply inventory and ensure equipment is well-maintained
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology
  • Certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
