Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in multiple modalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to system standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform multimodality imaging procedures according to exam protocols in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand the procedures and feel comfortable.
  • Prepare patients and the area for procedures, including positioning and adjusting equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and radiation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring it functions optimally.
  • Accurately document medical imaging records and maintain them in accordance with department standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and stay current on best practices in multimodality imaging.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new team members and assist with new service implementations.
  • Take part in call rotations as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Program.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the State of Texas Medical Board, unless the role is MRI and Ultrasound.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in two imaging modalities.
  • Must work at least 50% of the time in the second modality. Approved modalities include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-CV, ARRT-MR, RDMS-AB, RVT, CNMT, and others.
