Agricultural Applications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Applications Specialist to join our team at CHS Inc. in Selby, SD.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers and crop protection products to agricultural fields while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

You will work closely with customers to understand their chemical and fertilizer needs, providing expert advice and support to ensure their crops receive the best possible treatment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizers and crop protection products to agricultural fields">
• Work with customers to understand their chemical and fertilizer needs">
• Provide expert advice and support to ensure optimal crop yields">
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks">
• Assist sales staff with order fulfillment and customer support">
• Perform warehouse duties, including driving heavy machinery and loading/unloading materials">

Requirements:

• ">
• 1+ years of experience in agriculture production or operations">
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English">
• CDL license with Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)">
• Applicator's license and chemical application education/experience (preferred)">
• Forklift certification and farming/agriculture background (preferred)">

Compensation and Benefits:

CHS offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional earnings opportunities through bonus, incentives, and commissions.
