Agricultural Specialist

At CHS Inc, we are seeking an experienced Agricultural Specialist to join our team in Selby, SD. This role involves working independently as a Custom Applicator, applying fertilizers and crop protection products under general supervision.

• Apply fertilizers and crop protection products using high-clearance sprayers or floaters.
• Work with customers to educate them on products being applied, techniques used, and provide ongoing support.
• Assist sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and customer needs are met.
• Perform warehouse work, including driving loaders, forklifts, and performing maintenance tasks.

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a base wage, bonus, incentives, and commissions. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

• 1+ years of experience in agriculture production, operations, and/or application.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• CDL license with Hazmat endorsement or ability to attain one.
• Applicator's license, chemical application education, and experience preferred.
