Medical Telemetry Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their overall well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents, assessing their health and providing personalized care.
- Identify on-going needs and services of residents, promoting the highest quality resident services.
- Ensure proper follow-through, assessment, and documentation for residents with changes in healthcare services and status.
- Assist the Resident Care Director in conducting resident assessments at move-in, 30 days post-move-in, semi-annually, and with any change in status.
- Document all pertinent information in the resident wellness file.
- Maintain communication with residents' families and responsible parties to ensure medical needs are being met.
- Contact residents' attending physicians when necessary and/or upon family request.
- Ensure weights and vital signs are obtained monthly for each resident.
- Assist in maintaining wellness files according to Sunrise policies and federal and state regulations.
- Maintain medical supplies and emergency kits for the community.
- Provide clinical support and assistance to community team members as needed.
- Understand and follow infection control practices.
- Partners with the RCD and community team to promote infection control standards, including resident testing, training, and skills checks.
- Regularly monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile to ensure accurate administration and documentation.
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.
