Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Medical Telemetry Nurse to join our team. As a Medical Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Job Summary:The Medical Telemetry Nurse will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med Surg/Tele and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients assigned
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage care of patients
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
- Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required
- Strong MS/Tele background
- Neuro step down unit, Med Surg/Tele experience
- Float requirement: Yes, including ED to care for admitted patients holding BLS - AHA
- RN License, tele cert or competency exam
