Position Overview: The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care within the healthcare setting. This position is essential for ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
The staff RN will report directly to the Nurse Manager and is responsible for:
- Executing professional nursing duties in alignment with established scope of practice.
- Utilizing and leading nursing personnel, including LVNs and unlicensed assistive staff, to provide optimal patient care.
- Assessing personal performance and maintaining current knowledge of nursing theories and principles.
- Employing a population-based approach to effectively identify and address patient needs.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possession of a valid California State license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certification in CPR.
- ACLS certification to be obtained within three months of employment.
- NIHSS certification required within six months of employment.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is preferred.
