Salary: $90,000-$120,000/yr.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of our client's manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of production processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience designing and implementing equipment retrofits and upgrades. They will also have expertise in system design and program development, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and electrical systems promptly.

This position requires collaboration within a team and independent work, with on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend and holiday work. If you're passionate about electrical systems, thrive under pressure, and are ready to take on new challenges, this role may be for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement equipment retrofits and upgrades
  • System design and program development
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and electrical systems promptly
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the STOP program, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance of equipment
  • Test and evaluate electronic components
  • Construct and install machine control panels
  • Train Maintenance Technicians on electrical troubleshooting and repair
Requirements:
  • Education: Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, required; Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years as an Industrial Electrical Engineer, strongly preferred
  • Software: Siemens PLC AND AutoCAD
  • Expertise: Ability to operate a wide range of electrical test equipment, program AC/DC drives and PLCs
  • Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, or bending for 50+% of each shift and manual lifting up to 50 pounds
