We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Overnight Monitor to join our team. As a key member of our residential support team, you will provide general oversight, manage curfews, and maintain house rules. You will also have daily contact with clients and staff, intervening in problem situations, providing daily support and guidance for residents adjusting to community living, and helping them overcome obstacles in daily living.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

  • Provide daily guidance and support to residents who are transitioning back to the community.
  • Assist with intervening in problem situations.
  • Model appropriate daily living skills, including healthy communication skills and conflict management.
  • Respond to emergency or urgent situations by providing direct client assistance.
  • Support the implementation of clients' individualized recovery plans.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting facility maintenance issues.
  • Follow agency safety protocols, including emergency drills.
  • Complete reporting and documentation.
  • Prepare for each shift by receiving information from the outgoing staff members, reading the communication log, and checking/reading mail in the assigned mailbox.
  • Follow agency protocols in emergencies, assisting in monthly fire and tornado drills.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods.

**Qualifications**

  • High school education or GED.
  • Some mental health or healthcare experience preferred.
