Job Summary

GPAC is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining open communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities to ensure project completion on schedule.
  • Direct field personnel to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Maintain daily communication with project managers and administrative staff.
  • Create and update project schedules for on-time delivery.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and performance of field personnel and their crews.
  • Complete daily reports and timesheets on the job site.
  • Attend meetings as directed.
  • Promote safety practices and procedures.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction industry experience with a minimum of 7 as a lead Superintendent.
  • Commercial, Industrial, Private, and Public project experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing projects.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to read and evaluate blueprints and relevant contract documents.
  • Experience with construction-related software is desirable.
  • Understands and promotes the team concept.
  • Ability to develop/maintain a positive working relationship with clients, the public, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Federal project experience is a plus.
