Position Overview
ONE Gas is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Development Intern to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Market Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, network with other interns and leadership, and gain valuable experience in the field of market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and assist the team in developing strategies to maximize revenue growth.
- Assist in the development of innovative growth initiatives to penetrate the central Texas market.
- Participate in job shadowing and on-the-job training to gain a deeper understanding of business unit operations and job functions.
- Develop a strong understanding of business unit organizational hierarchy, reporting structure, and operating procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on applicable Federal, State, and local guidelines and regulations as they relate to business operations.
- Participate in team-building activities with fellow interns and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Energy Management, Business Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
- Projected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience in extracurricular and community support activities demonstrating leadership.
- Prior work experience, entrepreneurial activities, or internships.
