Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at UPMC. As a Clinical Director for the evening shift, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and oversight to a team of nurses and healthcare professionals, ensuring that patient care is delivered to the highest standard.
- Patient Care: Develop and implement plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices, new technologies, and evidence-based care.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a nurse leader or in a related role.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of practice.
- Certifications: National Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g. CCRN, CNL).
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
