Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse is entrusted with the authority, responsibility, and accountability for delivering nursing care through the application of the nursing process.
In collaboration with the Unit Manager and other healthcare professionals, the Registered Nurse utilizes competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve optimal care outcomes.
This role requires the nurse to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care that is pertinent to the residents under their supervision, while also applying principles of growth and development throughout the lifespan.
The Registered Nurse must possess the capability to assess and interpret resident data to identify each resident's specific needs based on their age.
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM | Every other weekend and holidays
Sign-on Bonus:
$10,000 for new graduates with a two-year work commitment.
$15,000 for experienced nurses with a two-year work commitment.

Communicates effectively, both verbally and in documentation, demonstrating critical thinking in identifying clinical, social, safety, and spiritual issues during care episodes.
Incorporates national professional organization standards, along with business unit and health system goals, to enhance patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
Develops a personalized care plan and daily objectives that reflect individual patient needs.
Shows initiative and seeks both formal and informal opportunities to enhance clinical practice, while actively seeking guidance to improve nursing skills.
Creates a compassionate patient-centered experience by building healing relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Identifies ethical dilemmas in patient care or workplace settings and seeks appropriate assistance.
Accepts assignments that progressively increase in patient load and complexity.
Engages in clinical development and/or RN residency programs for new hires. Requests opportunities to learn safe, accountable, and autonomous practices from more experienced nurses.

Clinical practice reflects knowledge of how quality and innovation influence patient satisfaction, safety, and clinical outcomes.
Identifies areas for improvement within the clinical setting.
Employs the nursing process in managing resident care, including assessment, interdisciplinary planning, implementation, evaluation, teaching, and discharge planning based on evidence-based nursing standards.
Provides basic psychosocial support and counseling, collaborating with physicians and care teams to ensure quality resident care.
Reports and documents all observed changes in residents' conditions or behaviors in accordance with established practices and policies.
Adheres to medication use policies, safety protocols, and standard infection control procedures.
Demonstrates effective communication with all members of the healthcare team. Begins to recognize cultural diversity, horizontal violence, and impairment within the health professions.
Prioritizes safety in the workplace for both patients and self.
Qualifications:
Long-term care experience preferred. BSN preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR certification required based on AHA standards, including both didactic and skills demonstration components within 30 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Registered Nurse (RN) OR Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
