Job Opportunity: Ink Room Technician

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Ink Room Technician to join our team in the South Charlotte area. This 2nd shift position requires a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Record color formulas in color management software and issue mixing procedures.
  • Review daily production schedules to ensure timely preparation and staging of inks.
  • Manage ink room inventories, including inks, solvents, adhesives, and operating supplies.
  • Verify ink components are available and used as specified.
  • Perform quality color checks.
  • Assist with troubleshooting ink-related issues at the press.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in printing and knowledge of ink procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn color management software.
  • Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stoop, squat, crawl, and kneel.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color acuity, and ability to adjust focus.
