We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to collaborate with our client's technical team in Albuquerque, NM. This 6-month contract-to-hire role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare 2D and 3D drawings of components, assemblies, and process engineering change orders from given data.
  • Research and gather data to complete engineering drawings, including previous drawings, project notes, and field checks.
  • Develop software routines to automate tasks and improve the drawing process using CADD software and hardware.
Requirements:
  • AS in computer drafting or related field and 4+ years of equivalent drafting experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated CAD support for engineering design teams and 2+ years of CAD modeling experience using AUTOCAD Inventor.
