We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Resources for Human Development. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and Behavioral health histories to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision and support to individuals in accordance with their person-centered ISP, promoting healthy and socially acceptable behaviors.
- Administer medication and assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, toileting, and hygiene.
- Transport individuals to appointments and community activities, promoting community integration and access to resources.
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
- High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic computer and internet literacy, with the ability to utilize applications like emails and time recording.
- Prior experience in the human services field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.
- Full-time employees eligible for medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, 403B, tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and an unmatched PTO plan.
