Reports To: Weatherization Program Supervisor
Work Schedule: Standard business hours
The individual in this role will oversee the daily functions of the Weatherization Program, working closely under the guidance of the Weatherization Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage client applications and maintain waiting lists.
- Conduct home visits to create detailed blueprints of residences.
- Evaluate income eligibility during home assessments.
- Assess client eligibility and prioritize services accordingly.
- Perform blower door tests and handle necessary equipment.
- Utilize the NEAT Audit Software for energy assessments.
- Conduct audits for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP).
- Inspect homes for air leaks and insulation issues.
- Analyze gas appliances and measure energy consumption.
- Assist in estimating material and labor costs for projects.
- Perform cost analysis for various jobs.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors regarding carpentry issues.
- Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and monitor their work.
- Ensure compliance with Weatherization contracts and funding requirements.
- Compile monthly reports as mandated by funding sources.
- Develop work plans and schedules for program activities.
- Maintain accurate records related to Weatherization services.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Engage in normal physical activities such as sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasionally move furniture for inspections.
- Perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, and reaching.
- Lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Utilize all five senses in job functions.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: Four years of technical training in building trades or equivalent experience.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and TB tests.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
