Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric-mental health problems
- Collaborate with psychiatrists to develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Provide emergency psychiatric services, conduct examinations, and develop treatment plans
- Consult with patients and families to address complex disorders and work with primary healthcare providers
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
- Master's degree in Nursing and current RN license in the state of practice
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of nursing practice, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. The successful candidate must be able to cope mentally and physically with the demands of the job.
