As a Utilization Review Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating national standards for case management scope of services, including Utilization Management, to support medical necessity and denial prevention. You will also coordinate with payers to authorize appropriate levels of care and length of stay for medically necessary services required for patients. Additionally, you will provide education to payers, physicians, hospital/office staff, and ancillary departments related to covered services and administration of benefits.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • At least 2 years of acute care experience
  • At least 1 year of Utilization Review experience
