Foreman Job Description

At Structural Group, we are seeking a skilled Foreman to lead our construction crews in delivering high-quality projects. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our field teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of field crews, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and milestones are achieved.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in general construction, with at least 2 years in a leadman or similar position.
  • Proven ability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contract specifications.
  • Established commitment to safety and quality.
  • Basic computer skills and construction math skills.
