Job Summary

The Radiopharmaceutical Specialist will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. You will also administer medical substances for imaging or other procedures, perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, and coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred
  • State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Required in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI

You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare teams. Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
