About the Role

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Whittier, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment. The ideal candidate will perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, coordinate patient flow, and maintain procedure quality control.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred
  • State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Required in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI
  • State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT): Required

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including continuing education, bereavement leave, medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, 403b retirement plan, employee assistance programs, life insurance, holiday pay, sick pay, and health savings account.
