Job Summary

Charles Industries, LLC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in industrial machinery, including pumps, valves, and actuators.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues to identify root causes and prevent equipment downtime.
  • Electrical Systems: Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems within industrial equipment, including routine checks and repairs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Communication: Provide reports on equipment performance and reliability to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); associate degree in maintenance technology or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 4 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician focusing on hydraulics and electrical systems; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic math skills, good communication skills, ability to prioritize work and adhere to deadlines, excellent analytical skills, and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, and feel objects, and use tools or controls; occasionally required to sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and twist.
Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential job functions.

  • Employees regularly work near moving, vibrating mechanical equipment, occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; exposed to minimal risk of electrical shock.
