Data Scientist Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist Engineer to join our team at Rio Tinto Boron, California Operations. As a Data Scientist Engineer, you will play a key role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven insights and solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data-driven products and services.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work with third-party software vendors to integrate their solutions with our data infrastructure.
- Help users make data-driven decisions by providing data visualizations and reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and other common programming languages.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Flexibility and autonomy to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
