Data Scientist Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist Engineer to join our team at Rio Tinto Boron, California Operations. As a Data Scientist Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our company's future by developing innovative data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making.
- Work with third-party software vendors to integrate their tools with our data infrastructure.
- Help users make data-driven decisions by providing data insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of data analysis, data extraction, transform, and loading.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Typescript, or other common programming languages.
- Leadership skills, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Flexibility and autonomy to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Valid driving license.
