Team Context:

Join our dynamic team within Global Information Security (GIS). The Cyber Security Technology (CST) group is a globally integrated team focused on cybersecurity innovation, architecture, engineering, and capability development.

As a Lead Security Architect for Cryptographic Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing architectural frameworks. This includes assessing and optimizing system designs while ensuring alignment with security policies. You will collaborate with various IT domains and serve as a technical resource, providing expertise and guidance.

Engagement Level:

This role operates at both the team and program levels, functioning as an individual contributor with minimal supervision. You will serve as a domain expert, mentoring junior team members and contributing to multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across business and technology to establish architectural vision aligned with GIS policies.
  • Consult with stakeholders to identify challenges and develop secure solutions based on domain knowledge.
  • Rapidly shape high-level architecture while ensuring adaptability to emerging business needs.
  • Utilize best practices and documentation to create architectural designs, suggesting improvements as necessary.
  • Work with Product Managers to prioritize security-focused initiatives within the architecture framework.
  • Assist development teams with system design and provide solutions to architectural challenges.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Educate team members on security principles and best practices for creating secure solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in asymmetric and symmetric key encryption.
  • Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and their interfaces.
  • Knowledge of encryption methods for network and application layers.
  • Experience with encryption solutions for cloud environments.
  • Understanding of secrets management and identity protocols.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and their security implications.
  • Strong interest in designing enterprise-scale cryptographic solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Information Security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Credit/Payment Card industry.
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS standards.
