About the Role:

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity for a Staff Nurse - Primary Care position located in Seattle, Washington. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Position:

  • Nursing Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington policies.
  • Care Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate healthcare services for patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, communicating effectively with healthcare teams and patients to ensure informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse License (Washington) or Compact License: Registered Nurse required at hire.
  • Additional Qualifications: Basic Life Support certification, effective communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ambulatory care nursing experience
  • Primary nursing or case management experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
