Role Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Configure, calibrate, and operate machinery following established protocols and standards.
  • Modify machine settings to execute tasks precisely, adhering to specifications and timelines.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery appropriately.
  • Evaluate machining processes and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measurement tools.
  • Identify and rectify complex machine issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Perform calculations and assist with numerical control programming as necessary.
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines.
  • Attend work as per the established schedule.
  • Acquire all necessary tools for the position within 90 days of employment.
  • Execute other work-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background verification.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with reading part drawings and blueprints.
  • Willingness to work a 40-hour week with potential for up to 20 hours of overtime as needed.
  • Flexibility in work hours to accommodate operational needs.
  • Able to work weekends as required.
  • Exhibit timely decision-making skills.
  • Follow work instructions as specified.
  • Ability to accept instructions constructively.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team towards common objectives.
  • Consistent attendance is essential for this role.
