Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing managerial and clinical supervision for all nursing departments during their assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate bed placement and assign/reallocate staff as needed to ensure safe patient care levels.
  • Serve as a representative of the Chief Nursing Officer and administration in their absence.
  • Enforce all policies, procedures, and processes, and take corrective action when indicated.
  • Provide support, direction, education, and counseling to ensure all patient care goals and those of our customers are met.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in nursing.
  • Current NC RN License.
  • ACLS and PALS Certification (required at the first opportunity after hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate or Master Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience as a nursing supervisor in an acute care setting.
  • Critical Care Experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience is required.
  • Experience in CCU or ED is required.
  • ADN candidates are required to have 1 year of management experience.
  • BSN candidates, 1 year of management experience is preferred.
