Job Opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Mount Holly, NC. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students to develop essential skills for daily living and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
  • Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and collaboration with school staff and families to support students' participation in classroom activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Caseload Details:

  • Serve K-12 grade students with an average caseload of 45 students.
  • Serve IEP and 504 minutes, attend IEP/504 meetings, write all speech components of the IEP or 504, and write the entire IEP for students who are speech-only.
  • Be a member of the MTSS team.
  • IEP System: ECATS.

Requirements:

  • PEL with an SLP endorsement.
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
