As a Mainframe Security Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting intricate technical evaluations and providing support for mainframe security within a large-scale, complex Multi-LPAR RACF environment, utilizing RRSF (RACF Remote Sharing Facility), zSecure, RACF/DB2, and CICS.
Engaging in or leading computer security incident response efforts for moderately complex situations.
Performing thorough technical investigations of security incidents and conducting post-incident digital forensics to determine root causes and suggest future mitigation strategies.
Offering security consulting services on medium-scale projects for internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies and standards.
Designing, documenting, testing, maintaining, and providing recommendations for issue resolution related to moderately complex security solutions encompassing networking, cryptography, cloud authentication, directory services, email, internet applications, and endpoint security.
Leveraging subject matter expertise in industry-leading security solutions and best practices to implement various components of information security, including availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity.
Identifying security vulnerabilities and issues, conducting risk assessments, and evaluating remediation options.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe security risk assessment and remediation
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) using the current and supported version (z/OS 2.5)
- 5+ years of experience issuing RACF commands and performing diagnostics
- 5+ years of experience with Job Control Language (JCL)
Compensation:
Pay Range*: $68-$71 per hour
*The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on various factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
