Location: Swedesboro, New Jersey

Note: This role is situated within a manufacturing environment and requires expertise in the food and beverage production sector or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team to achieve and surpass performance benchmarks in areas such as employee safety, product quality, customer satisfaction, production efficiency, labor management, and cost control.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies, maintaining readiness for inspections at all times.
  • Champion quality enhancement initiatives through effective leadership across functional teams.
  • Oversee the coordination and scheduling of various departments to align with production demands.
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and deliver weekly reports with comprehensive insights, including action plans for necessary improvements.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process while monitoring and managing labor and departmental expenditures throughout the fiscal year.
  • Promote and support the plant's Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee performance management through recognition, rewards, and resources aimed at fostering development, motivation, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with indirect departments to ensure compliance, including Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of higher education and relevant experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, including supervisory roles.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP inventory systems.
  • Experience in the CPG, food, and beverage sectors.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production schedules, safety protocols, and operational manuals, along with the capacity to compose routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for addressing groups of employees or colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word processing, Excel spreadsheet software, and Outlook email.
