About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate and efficient laboratory testing, including moderate and high complexity tests.
  • Initiate and follow quality assurance and safety policies and procedures.
  • Collect and process specimens, including phlebotomy and special procedures.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance.
  • Participate in proficiency testing and quality control activities.
  • Prepare and analyze patient results, including peripheral blood smears and urinary sediment.
  • Document all laboratory activities, including test results, quality control, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
  • Current state license, if required.
  • AMT, ASCP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience for Level 2, five years for Level Sr.
