Job Title: Technical Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Lead to join our team at E2 Optics, an award-winning Woman-Owned technology integrator headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering jobsite productivity, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management: Follows safe work practices in accordance with company and client worksite policies, prioritizing the well-being of employees and clients alike.
  • Project Coordination: Supervises all aspects of installation, plans, organizes, and directs personnel, resources, and materials to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Control: Evaluates project requirements, validates SOW (Scope of Work), and implements strategies to achieve optimal team performance, adhering to industry standards.
  • Communication: Collaborates with the Scheduling administrator to maintain a 2-5 week look-ahead schedule, accurately reports project status, and facilitates timely reporting to leadership and clients.
  • Talent Development: Serves as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and mentor to technicians, developing their abilities to improve task performance and responsibilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Tracks, trends, and drives problem-solving for recurring issues that hinder performance targets, implementing effective solutions.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Shares best practices and lessons learned across sites, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and inspiration.
  • Coaching and Development: Provides coaching, development, and guidance to direct reports and team members, encouraging them to grow with emerging technologies.
  • Leadership by Example: Demonstrates safety and professionalism at all times, setting a positive tone for the team.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 within the first two weeks in role, BICSI Installer 2 Copper and Fiber preferred, and BICSI Certified Technician to be earned within 12 months in role.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-6 years of work experience in Structured Cabling or related industries/construction experience, including large data center infrastructure industry knowledge.
  • Skills: Ability to supervise and train employees, understand structured cabling systems, apply industry codes and standards, and develop standard operating procedures.
