Job Summary:

As a licensed mental health therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental health needs, working closely with treating physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and research methods to inform your treatment approach.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and public agencies to ensure members receive comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, contributing to the growth and improvement of our mental health services.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V, social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention and individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity, with a commitment to quality of service and teamwork.
