Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ebenezer Choice Sarasota. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for maintaining current assessments and documentation of resident health status, implementing new and updating current resident care plans, and coordinating resident health services with internal and external providers. The ideal candidate will have a current FL RN license, AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of resident health status
- Implements new and updates current resident care plan
- Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed
- Handles and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
- Acts as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times
- Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
- Current FL RN license or by start date
- AHA (American Heart Association) BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
- Preferred: Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems, work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN, good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and physicians or providers
