Key Responsibilities

This role involves performing technical drafting support for assigned projects using CAD Civil 3D software, conducting planning and analysis for assigned projects using ArcPRO GIS software, producing final civil design drawings, preparing permit applications, and conducting field visits and construction site visits.

  • Perform technical drafting support for assigned projects and prepare engineering drawings using CAD Civil 3D software.
  • Perform planning and analysis for assigned projects using ArcPRO GIS software.
  • Produce final civil design drawings.
  • Prepare permit applications.
  • Conduct field visits and construction site visits and learn about the aspects of construction assistance activities (verify quantities, field reports, process pay applications, etc.).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University with an emphasis in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of related engineering design experience.
  • Engineer Intern (E.I.) (passed FE exam), preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preparing various site plans, grading plans, civil plan sets, plan and profile sheets, and utility plans. Knowledge of and ability to apply CAD standards.
  • Basic understanding of grading and drainage concepts and utility design standards for water and sewer distribution.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook) knowledge.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record with 3 or less demerit points.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
