Job Title: Fire Protection Billing Specialist

At Marmic Fire & Safety Co, we are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Fire Protection Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of fire protection service orders, ensuring that each work order is invoiced with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing Management: Post job processing of completed work orders, handle data entry, paperwork submission, and invoicing through customer-specific software portals.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Document and resolve pricing questions or concerns, coordinating with Marmic branches or customers as needed.
  • Accounts Receivable Oversight: Monitor and manage customer Accounts Receivable reports to ensure prompt and accurate payments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure proper paperwork and documentation are provided for each service order, maintain and review customer scopes of work and job/customer-specific pricing.
  • Customer and Partner Relations: Maintain professional and effective relationships with Branch and Affiliate Partners, meet or exceed customer service metrics (KPI's or SLA's) and support branches and affiliates in their billing needs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in billing or accounts receivable preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs.
  • Strong attention to detail and results-driven approach.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to resolve discrepancies and work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
