Job Overview

Eagle Fire Inc. is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire detection and signaling systems, with the ability to test, repair, and inspect these systems on a scheduled basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, repair, test, and inspect fire detection and signaling systems
  • Complete all services following manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies and procedures
  • Schedule inspections with customers as required
  • Provide documentation of inspections for Company records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity required
  • Communicate discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to the Company and the customer
  • Follow up to ensure that suggested repairs to systems are performed
  • Market EFI services to existing and potential customers
  • Train Technician Trainees as assigned
  • Commit to work until obligations are met, which may result in overtime
  • Complete continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for position
  • Adhere to ALL Company Standards and Procedures, including the Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard

Requirements:

  • MUST BE EST 3 OR 4 Certified
  • Education, experience, and certification as specified in the job description (or equivalent combination)
  • Practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Positive and professional demeanor with the ability to handle change, resolve conflict, and solve problems as they arise with minimal direction
  • Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, work from heights above 10 feet, and work in confined areas
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
