Overview: We are engaged in transitioning a complex fare management system from an outdated on-premises solution to a modern version hosted on Azure cloud. The process of requirement breakdown and creation of a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) has commenced, and we are looking for additional support in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Breakdown: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and project engineers, to comprehend and decompose business requirements. Execute these test cases across multiple platforms and devices, including ticket vending machines and mobile points of sale. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the transportation fare system to guarantee high quality and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of the fare system. Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Business Analysis, ideally within the transportation or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirement breakdown, test case creation, and execution.
